History
Founded in 1966, Endymion first paraded in 1967 and grew into the biggest of the super krewes - famous for enormous multi-section tandem floats carrying hundreds of riders and celebrity grand marshals. Its parade ends at the Superdome, where the Endymion Extravaganza has been held since 1981.
Where to watch
Endymion is the lone major parade on the Mid-City route, completely separate from the St. Charles parades. If Endymion is your priority, plan viewing and lodging around this corridor - it ends at the Superdome for the Endymion Extravaganza.
