Krewe of Muses

History

Founded in 2000 and first parading in 2001, Muses is an all-female krewe named for the daughters of Zeus, known for sharp satirical floats, a marching shoe of LED-lit floats, and the coveted hand-glittered high heel.

Where to watch

The classic Carnival corridor, and where nearly every major parade rolls. Most line up Uptown, head down St. Charles Avenue under the oaks, and finish on Canal Street downtown.
