History
Founded in 1993 by Harry Connick Jr. and others, Orpheus first paraded in 1994 as one of the first major co-ed super krewes open to all. It rolls Lundi Gras night and closes with the Orpheuscapade.
Where to watch
The classic Carnival corridor, and where nearly every major parade rolls. Most line up Uptown, head down St. Charles Avenue under the oaks, and finish on Canal Street downtown.
